An Early Career Professional applies broad job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and early career Power System Studies experience. May require the following proficiencies:


  • Power system analysis methods & performance - fault, protection/coordination, arc flash, load flow, motor starting, etc.

  • Experience in working closely with clients & customers, to resolve issues and deliver solutions

  • Professional Engineering licensing preferred, but on track for licensure required

2-5 years relevant experience; BSEE with power focus

Services Consulting Power Study Lead Engineer is accountable for customer satisfaction on new construction power system studies for aligned geographies or Sales Territories:


  • Local representative for Services Consulting System Studies

  • Act as single point of contact for power system studies content - questions about methods, recommendations, and specific reports - customer meetings & site visits as needed

  • Develop relationships with Schneider National Sales Force Teams and Consulting Application Engineers to influence study specifications and business

  • Develop relationships with Channel Partners

  • Perform some power system studies, as needed - fault, coordination, arc flash, load flow, etc.

  • Understand local adoption and enforcements of codes and standards, and adapt & influence study execution to balance with System Studies procedures

  • Understand local commercial market and use that understanding to influence quotations, and perform ad hoc quotes, as needed
