Job Description:

What will you do?

This position is responsible for supporting operations team in installation and service of building automation control and security management systems. This employee works under daily supervision of a Project Manager or Project Engineer and reports into a Construction Manager.

Responsibilities Include:


  • Understand how to read specifications, drawings, and internal cost estimates

  • Be able to design hardware submittals, read and write simple programming, and assist others in startup of control's equipment at a basic level with mentor support

  • Assist the PM in reviewing contract documentation, coordination drawings, material procurement activity

  • Basic understanding of operator workstation use, graphics and software development

  • Participate in basic field startup using standard start up and checkout processes

  • Hands on wiring and testing of low voltage controls on test bench


For this Washington State based position, the expected compensation range starts at $22 per hour.

Candidates must be available for summer 2024.

The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
