Now Hiring: Indexing Specialist! Are you detail-oriented with a knack for organization?


FedPoint is seeking a dynamic Indexing Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in the distribution of work across all programs. As an Indexing Specialist, you'll be responsible for identifying work types, enrolling individuals, and accurately entering case details. This position offers the opportunity to work across various lines of business and provide essential support to our Operations team.

Responsibilities:

Review and distribute incoming mail, email, and faxes, assigning work to the appropriate business unit.

Process misdirected items returned by business users, ensuring proper routing or facilitating rescan if necessary.

Collaborate with all operation groups to ensure proper workflow for incoming documents.

Monitor incoming volumes by source, identifying potential system issues and collaborating with IT to resolve.

Process transactions in iCare, BENEFEDS, Goldmine, or Web Application as needed to support Operations.

Review and approve documents for complete information to ensure proper processing.

Assist in training and developing documentation as needed.

Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments as requested.


Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years' experience within insurance operations preferred.

Proficiency in various desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal customers.

Ability to balance multiple tasks and work as part of a team or independently.

Clear understanding of time-sensitive deadlines and ability to complete tasks within those deadlines.

High degree of problem-solving ability and sense of ownership.

Must be able to work independently as well as be team-oriented.

Location: Our office is located in Portsmouth, NH. This is a HYBRID position: 2 day in office.
