• Supervise vacuum maintenance and electronic maintenance bargained employees
• Provide technical support to Engineering and R&D departments
• Facilitate repairs on all vacuum equipment
• Write Preventive Maintenance procedures and insure their proper execution.
• Identify failure patterns and take steps to eliminate them.
• Identify obsolete equipment and provide alternatives.
• Substitute for other maintenance supervisors when they are unavailable.
• Stay current with the latest vacuum and electronic related technology.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Provide safety and technical training to employees

• Minimum of two-year associate degree in electronics or equivalent military training or work experience
• Minimum two years experience in maintenance and repair
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to supervise bargaining unit personnel

Preferred:

• Experience with ultra-high vacuum
• Electronic maintenance experience
• Ability to interface effectively with engineering, production and other maintenance departments.
