Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, IT Project works independently applying project management principles and tools to manage and coordinate the Information Technology (IT) requirements for documenting processes and procedures, developing templates, auditing project tasks, and developing best practices for the successful execution of IT projects. Responsible for the administration of project management processes including, but not limited to, initiation, planning, execution, control & monitoring, and closing of IT related projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Evaluate, recommend, and use software tools to monitor and manage projects. Provide direction to project teams as needed.
Establish requirements and formulate proper documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to departmental standards, policies, and procedures, as they relate to CORE IS project deliverables, installations and upgrades. Establish and maintain the project documentation library.
Provide recommendations for improvement of project management processes currently in use. Train and answer questions related to PMO project management standards and applications.
Work in conjunction with CORE IS project teams to audit completed IT tasks and projects to ensure that all documentation meets the requirements set forth in the departmental standards, policies and procedures, including uploads to designated project document repository.
Assist with tasks to establish, document and execute internal IT audit processes and procedures, schedule and calendar.
Coordinate with Change Management Office to ensure that project efforts and change results augment satisfactory impact on people and technology services delivery.
When applicable, conduct and/or attend meetings to assist with the development and documentation of project scope, project plan, risk and change control plans.
When applicable, assist with the development and documentation of strategic technical/functional implementation plans, work breakdown structures and schedules for project teams. Provide feasibility reports for upcoming projects and their impact on the system.
Track and monitor progress of IT department project portfolio and provide sponsor, management, and stakeholders with established periodic status reports.
Maintain and archive CORE IS project documents in accordance to TLSAC and Records Management retention guidelines.
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.

General Office.
