HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

The Managing Director, People & Culture will be proficient in driving organizational change through the utilization of data-driven insights and strategic influence. Key responsibilities include championing HR initiatives and functional strategies, advising and collaborating with leaders to enhance people strategies, and providing leadership and support for strategic and tactical HR and recruiting programs. Additionally, will serve as a strategic partner to executive teams, offering guidance on critical decisions related to compensation, organizational structures, and employee retention.


  • Drive change through data-based insights and influence. Serve as change champion in support of HR initiatives and functional strategy.
  • Act as an advisor and thought partner to leaders, to elevate people strategies. Provide leadership and partnership to management and employees to deliver a variety of strategic and tactical HR support and programs.
  • Function as a strategic business partner to the executive business team and to their respective business disciplines regarding key organizational and management needs/issues.
  • Provides ownership and accountability for key business departments and provide recommendations to guide decisions related to compensation, organizational structures, retention, and other employee-related activities.
  • Develop people strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Create a unified culture across all areas of the business ensuring each group feels appreciated, and recognized through proper communication, events, and visits (as necessary)
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting/on boarding and retention plans to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Manage orientation/onboarding program to provide new hires with a company-wide indoctrination for new employees.
  • Understand, integrate and provide counsel to the business on the various HR programs; ensure HR programs are effectively communicated, implemented and utilized with minimal disruption and strong client partnership as well as the execution of talent development programs, including succession planning/talent reviews, career conversations, and employee development.
  • Deploy appropriate tools to develop and engage leaders, build a diverse bench, and assess training needs for teams and leadership development.
  • Evaluate and provide input on rewards and recognition with cross-functional partners
  • Identify and improve leadership and management practices; collaborate with the business and other HR staff to develop resolution strategies when specific ER issues arise.
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of employee morale and engagement.

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

  • 15+ years of broad-based Human Resources experience with progressive leadership experience in various Human Resources positions and with 5 years of experience at the senior executive level
  • Business acumen with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal business partner
  • Demonstrated success in listening, influencing and coaching at the leadership level
  • Must have advanced knowledge and demonstrated capability in Human Resources functions and practices (e.g. organizational design and consulting, employee/associate relations, performance management, training, compensation, recruiting, associate engagement and retention, employment law, organizational development, change leadership, coaching and communications.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate complex issues across all levels of organization
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment; high level of follow-through and accountability
  • Verbal and written communication skills; proactive communicator able to influence and encourage innovation
  • Resilient and adapts quickly to changing factors
  • Strong problem-solver with the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
  • In-depth knowledge of legal/regulatory federal and state requirements and ensure fair and consistent daily management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for employees
  • Skilled in resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and passion around people with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values
