Job Description:
Local News EditorWe are seeking a player/coach news editor to cover and edit a wide variety of news for two weekly publications- The Southwest Iowa Herald and Bulletin-Review in and around Denison, Shenandoah, Clarinda, and the Logan-Woodbine areas of Iowa. Coverage includes government, public safety, sports and features for print and digital publications. This position will cover stories, budget pages, and lead a team of reporters for area.
The ability to work in a print and digital environment is essential. A bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field and a minimum of a year of multi-media journalism is preferred. New graduates with college editing experience are welcome to apply.
