We are currently seeking positive, upbeat, outgoing candidates for the position of Adult Case Manager (CM).  As a Case Manager, you will make a difference each day helping individuals with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness or Severe Mental Illness to live full lives, by helping individuals learn how to manage their mental illness. Helping link them to resources that may help them be successful in living independently. These services are provided in both agency and community settings.  The ideal candidate has a passion for behavioral health, is creative, possesses strong organizational skills, and is a skilled relationship builder with an awesome interpersonal style.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  A BA/BS degree with an emphasis on Mental Health/human services or equivalent experience. Staff members shall possess demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to work with the mentally ill, ability to respond effectively in a wide variety of human service situations. Experience working with persons diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness is preferred.  Must have a current and valid Kansas driver’s license.  Must successfully complete Case Management Certification as stipulated by the state of Kansas within six months of employment and maintain Case Management  Certification there after.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:     Utilizes computer effectively, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certification as Case manager through on line training of training teams.org and Basic Case management from University of Kansas.
