For several decades, my client has become a premier heavy civil company located in the Bay Area, specializing in road and freeway projects, including paving, grading, and asphalt.



Your new role



The need has arisen for a Safety Manager who has strong knowledge and skills in the Health & Safety aspect of construction. This position will grow into a Division Director position in the future.



What you'll need to succeed

• 
  MUST HAVE Cal/OSHA 30-hour construction training course


• Four-year college degree
  


• At least 5 years of experience in heavy construction safety


• Knowledge & Experience of CALTRANS projects


• Traffic control supervisor certification.

The successful applicant MUST have one of the following certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals:


1. Certified Safety Professional


2. Construction Health and Safety Technician


3. Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician
