Goodwill of the Heartland is the place for you! We are looking to hire a part time Outlet Production Specialist for our Outlet Store in Cedar Rapids for weekends only!

The Outlet is a unique Goodwill store, where we give items that haven’t sold in our other stores one more chance to be purchased. The Outlet Production Specialist will have a variety of responsibilities, includes sorting unsold goods from our stores that will go to the sales floor, processing salvage items, and moving goods onto the sales floor, ensuring continuous distribution of fresh inventory for our customers. Team members will operate some equipment during these processes following training, including a gaylord tipper, pallet jack, product boat, and cash register. The Outlet Production Specialist will also assist managers with daily communication and planning of product ordering and ensure safe processing procedures and will record statistical information for recording inventory as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, though the average weight of donation processing is 20 lbs.


• Must be able to bend, push, pull, and stand.


• Retail experience is preferred but not required.


• Successful completion of the background screening (sex offender registry)

The Outlet Production Specialist position has a starting wage of $14.19 per hour, plus incentive pay based on the store's performance. The schedule for this position is 16 hours a week, 8 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday. The shift on Saturdays is 10a - 630p and the shift on Sundays is 9a - 530p. You must be able to work both days at the times listed.
