Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Microgrid Execution Manager in Houston, TX.

Job Description: Manage resources by reviewing current workload and future forecast and making recommendations on the team's headcount number to support. Determine and modify different roles within the team to improve efficiency and meet business needs. Ensure that the team is up to date with safety and HR training. Provide technical mentorship and training to team on microgrid control (DERs, advisory systems, system architecture) and different sequence of operation based on applications. Create and maintain technical templates. Communicate line of business and Microgrid competency center to ensure that the most adequate technology is used and maintained, and to discuss future evolution, strategy, and risk. Maintain laboratory use for control simulation. Communicate with 3rd party vendors to ensure that the correct technology usage. Ensure that the correct resource is being deployed in projects based on competency and skillsets. Manage resource allocation for project execution based on schedule needs. Ensure that team follows Schneider Electric's project execution process (CPP) and ensure compliance. Ensure a high quality of execution and Customer Satisfaction and that projects achieve the targeted margin. Make margin analysis on the gap when applicable. Work with project management team to correct and improve internal processes. Position supervises 9 direct reports in the position of Microgrid Application Engineer. Eligible for remote work up to 3 days per week.

Requirements: Position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in leading technical automation, electrical engineering management, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Microgrid system design and applications, including EPAS (Ecostruxture Power Automation System), EMO (Ecostruxture Microgrid Operation) and EMA (Ecostruxture Microgrid Advisor), as well as Protection relays, Easergy Studio, SEL Acselerator, and Machine Expert; Designing power systems and communication networks; PLC programming and structure text programming; Designing Power systems taking into account energy consumption, distributed energy resources, battery energy storage systems, generator control, and solar photovoltaic systems; and Analyzing and accounting for microgrid use cases, including grid connection management, export management, load management, demand response, and peak shaving.
