We are seeking a Principal of Channel Enablement to support our Strategic Sales Teams.

The Principal of Channel Enablement will report to the Sr. Director of Sales Enablement and will collaborate with the Directors of Sales Enablement, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership to ensure the learning strategy aligns with the sales teams needs for renewal, upsell, cross sell, and net new business.

The Principal of Channel Enablement will be required to influence, support, and communicate the strategy to the sales organization they support. The primary focus for the Principal of Channel Enablement will be to elevate sales skills within the teams to drive revenue and double-digit growth. They will be proficient in the channel specific selling scenarios. They will design and deliver channel specific enablement around the top use cases, personas, messaging, and value propositions. They must be able to adapt the channel enablement strategy to meet new business & growth demands and priorities.

In addition, the Principal of Channel Enablement will work with the Sales Operations teams to create an enablement strategy for our sales tools/technology to create and progress pipeline for renewals and new business. They will mobilize resources to ensure that sales teams have the tools and resources to get their jobs done.

They will remove barriers to team productivity and success through your enablement strategy. They will partner with the Design and Delivery team to ensure channel needs are incorporated into the sales onboarding and partner with the principals of sales enablement to ensure channel needs are incorporated into continuous education programs.

The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B sales, sales enablement background with experience collaborating with and deploying enablement in partnership with sales leadership and/or marketing. This role requires a well-rounded individual who has excellent organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills.

  • Influence, support, and communicate the strategy to sales organization you support.
  • Adapt the channel enablement strategy to meet new business | growth demands and priorities.
  • Monitor and measure enablement effectiveness. Continue to challenge yourself and others to improve business results.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the organization's business and the industries with which the organization is involved.
  • Experience and Competencies:

  • BA/BS in Training/Organizational Development or related field required.
  • 5-8+ years of professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Product, Training or Sales Enablement preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Team player, the ideal candidate must be able to interact successfully with team members at all levels of the organization as well has able to work independently with minimal direction when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, and communication (written, oral and listening) skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of sales techniques, adult learning, professional development, additional certification, or education in adult learning strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully create sales enablement solutions for business priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Must have excellent influencing, listening and presentation skills.
