About the role:


WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role will handle a broad range of HR functions supporting the employment lifecylce. The role will work collaboratively with the Human Resources team on tasks including, but not limited to, Recruiting, HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems, data management, HR compliance support, and employee communications.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Post open positions in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Support the candidate experience by scheduling interviews, greeting candidates, updating candidate profiles in the Applicant Tracking System as needed.
  • Coordinate the employment offer, background check and pre-employment processes.
  • Coordinate the Onboarding process and New Hire Orientation.
  • Recruit for Temporary and Hourly open positions. Maintain temporary employee records.
  • Maintain HRIS system records, ensuring accuracy thru self-audits and reports.
  • Maintain electronic employee files.
  • Coordinate new hire processes such as E-Verify, I-9 compliance.
  • Communicate new hire start date and information to other departments (IT, Facilities).
  • Process employee changes and termination documents.
  • Provide data reports as requested.
  • Assist with external recruiting events.
  • Support HR team with projects and day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.


Knowledge / training:

  • Knowledge of talent acquisition practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking systems and resume databases.
  • Knowledge of legal employment practices and procedures.
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • High level of accurancy and attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of integrity with a demonstrated ability to be discrete and handle confidential matters appropriately.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills.
  • Desire to continuously learn and maintain HR knowledge.


Experience:

  • 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience working with HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused and collaborative work environment.
