| Position Summary | The Creative Writing program is looking for qualified instructors are needed to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Poetry Writing. Courses include: • Wr 213 – Introductory Poetry Writing • Wr 313 – Intermediate Poetry Writing • Wr 407 – Seminar: Poetry • Wr 413 – Advanced Poetry Writing • Wr 507 – MFA Seminar: Poetry |
| Minimum Qualifications | For all courses: MFA or PhD in Poetry. For 500-level courses: A distinguished record of publication, including at least one book of poetry. Demonstrated excellence in teaching. |
| Preferred Qualifications | For 300- and 400-level courses: Two quarters of demonstrated successful teaching of college level poetry writing and significant publications in the genre. For 500-level courses: Experience teaching at the graduate level. |
