We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill our Payroll Specialist role, who will administer and process payrolls for the Company and oversee the preparation and reporting of wage and tax information to government agencies. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), in addition to other systems supported by the HR team.

How You Will Help:

• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of processing weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for the Company

• Ensure all new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations are processed timely and accurately; review the changes for proper authorization and adherence to policy
• Process garnishments, levies, child support orders, and W-2's in addition to ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Responsible for ADP Time Management reconciliation and coordination with managers to ensure timecards are approved in a timely manner
• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all payroll data. Coordinate efforts between payroll, human resources and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
• Maintains HRIS tables and document processes and results
• Assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, developing and testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
• Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HR Managers' problems, unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
• Lead implementation/enhancements of HRIS. Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation; train internal customers on processes/functionality

What You Will Have:

• Prior payroll experience required, preferably with ADP HCM platforms
• Experience in Hourly payroll processing, preferably experience with Union payroll.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft products, including but limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of basic benefit programs, vacation and time-off policies
• Ability to work in a team setting
