AMN Language Services is growing its new client base and expanding its services in its current client base. This high-visibility role is crucial to our long-term success and efficient patient satisfaction. The Implementation Project Manager (IPM) will lead the end-to-end onboarding and implementation of AMN Language Services products for new and existing clients.

Job Summary




The IPM will lead multiple, simultaneous project efforts through collaboration with clients and internal technical/fulfillment leads, ensuring efficient project plan development, timely delivery of product configurations, third-party integrations, delivery of products, coordination of implementation staff, and fulfillment of customer training requirements.


The IPM plays a vital role in creating long-term healthy service provider-client relationships. It acts as a liaison between the client and internal AMN Language Services Teams. The IPM will meet project management deliverables across multiple parties and effectively communicate status throughout the implementation project lifecycle.


The key responsibility of the IPM is governance across all areas of clients' contracted services, including project kickoff, development, sophisticated integration project management, and inspiring client engagement to drive rapid adoption of AMN Language Services products and services. The IPM will communicate effectively, represent AMN Language Services professionally, operate with a service-oriented approach across all parties, maintain integrity, and provide accurate reporting to ensure transparency across collaborators.




Job Responsibilities




  • Acts as the point of contact for new client projects while leading the implementation and onboarding from initiation through delivery.


  • Identifies needed resources for projects; defines and assigns major project roles.


  • Manages project initiation activities that include identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed.


  • Able to develop a deep knowledge of the product and demo for client efforts as needed.


  • Develops, defines, and executes project plans, scope, activities, schedules, and deliverables.


  • Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments, and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints, and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.


  • Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure the achievement of project goals (e.g., deadline, scope, and quality).


  • Adheres to change control procedures relative to project scope and timeline.


  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.


  • Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups and/or client organizations.


  • Delivers projects with high client satisfaction with decreased time to revenue.


  • Collaborate with internal AMN Language Services departments to identify areas for improvement and develop new processes where needed.


  • Establish solid client relationships with positive communication.


  • Manages client hand-off when project delivery has been completed.


  • Explains technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


  • Acts as the client voice for internal meetings and projects.


  • Ability to function effectively at a high level as an individual contributor.

  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.


  • Passion to bring equitable healthcare access to the Limited English Proficient population




Qualifications




Education & Years of Experience


  • High School Diploma/GED plus 5-7 years of work experience




Certifications


  • PMI - Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)


  • Certified ScrumMaster (Preferred)




Additional Experience


  • A minimum of three years of applicable experience is required.


  • Successful project management experience is required


  • Experience in the healthcare industry


  • Project management software experience preferred




Work Environment / Physical Requirements




  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.


  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.


  • Team members may be asked to lift, carry, push, or pull objects. This position requires the ability to move equipment or packages up to 10 pounds. Team members may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to service the lights and/or ceiling fans. Team members may also be asked to install or service equipment, including under desks, resulting in kneeling, stooping, or crouching. Travel is required x% of the time for this role.
