Position Overview for Manager, Enrichment Programs at Point Foundation

The Manager, Enrichment Programs is responsible for managing and supporting Point's scholar enrichment programs. Chief among this role's responsibilities is the successful administration of a group mentoring program that involves pairing and supporting relationships between Point scholars and volunteers and developing related activities. The Manager will also support additional programs including the Community College Conference, BIPOC Expert Coaching Series, and Career Exposure opportunities. Responsibilities in this role may include facilitating discussions at virtual engagements, coordinating with vendors and guest speakers, effectively sharing enrichment opportunities with scholars, and managing scholar communications.

This individual will be a strong collaborator and display an interest in serving the LGBTQ community. We are seeking a team member who has stellar people skills, is organized and meticulous, and possesses strong project management abilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management:

-Manage all aspects of implementation and quality management of Point's group mentoring program including responsibility for the recruitment, selection, and matching process, facilitating volunteer training, conducting regular evaluations, and implementing changes as needed to enhance the program in accordance with the objectives and success criteria as set by the Chief Program Officer and Director of Scholar Advocacy & Enrichment.

-Lead the design and implementation of mentoring program curriculum to ensure a meaningful and successful experience for scholars, volunteers, and vendors.

-Provide logistical and organizational support for scholar enrichment activities such as the Community College Conference, BIPOC Expert Coaching Series, and Career Exposure opportunities.

-Review and revise enrichment programs under this role's responsibility in alignment with Point's Strategic Plan and potential growth.

-Maintain and manage the program's online scholar and volunteer platform

Relationship Management:

-Oversee communication to and between scholars and volunteers including the delivery of policies and procedures for mentoring participant success.

-Serve as an internal resource for questions pertaining to the group mentoring and other scholar enrichment programs.

-Recruit and interview prospective mentors; maintain clear and professional communication with corporate partners serving as volunteers for the mentoring program.

-Design and conduct orientations and trainings with mentors and mentees

-Design and deploy surveys to scholars and volunteers to gauge learning outcomes, satisfaction, and impact.

Program Operations:

-Maintain accurate administrative records using Point's database system(s), track scholar communications for program purposes.

-Assess and evaluate program engagement; collaborate with supervisor to develop measurable metrics that help ensure program quality.

-Manage budgets related to program expenses/events/initiatives.

-Develop tools and resources as needed to support and enhance scholar enrichment programs.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-Professional experience related to coaching, advising, and/or teaching of diverse populations OR experience related to the development, implementation, and management of student success programming

-Above average competency with Office 365 applications (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)

-Great written and oral communication skills
