Job Description:

Purpose and Scope of Job:
Primarily responsible for assisting with various projects in productivity/standardization improvements and updating documentation; which will help improve consistency and efficiency.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):
Compare standard vs. actual production values Log and evaluate data results Update existing SSPs (work instructions) Additional projects in lean manufacturing as required Upon completion of Internship, document the initial and final conditions by preparing a PowerPoint presentation for each project, documenting each improvement
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently working towards degree in Industrial Engineering or other technical disciplines such as science, technology etc. Minimum 3.0 GPA required, higher preferred (on 4.0 scale)Must be in junior or senior year of degree program, Senior preferred.Must be self-motivated, disciplined and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Must have good oral and written communication skills.Proficiency with MS Office programs is required.Any additional essential skills and/or knowledge as shown in the HRIS Career & Education > Skills section for incumbents holding this job title.
