Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Production Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety regulations. You will lead and motivate a team of production staff, ensuring they are well-trained and operating at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to staff.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and ensure proper sanitation and safety protocols are followed.
- Identify and address production issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Train new staff on proper food handling procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Implement and adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, motivating and coaching team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food production industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Excellent knowledge of food production processes and equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Understanding of HACCP principles.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control programs.
