Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $135,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
Industry-leading food manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in their Seattle, WA area location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement and optimization, with a proven track record of enhancing efficiency and productivity. Food industry experience is highly preferred.


Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day production activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.


• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and workflows.


• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.


• Lead and motivate production teams to meet production targets and quality standards.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and resolve production issues.


• Implement best practices in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.


• Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.


• Oversee inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.


• Develop and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.


• Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in production processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.


• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong understanding of production processes and techniques.


• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and optimization.


• Excellent leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven decisions.


• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.


• Experience with inventory management systems and production planning.


• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing setting.
