Job Description Summary



Privacy Analyst supports Lamb Weston's Personal Data Privacy Program and Information Security Management, ensuring that business and operations are performed in compliance with global privacy laws, regulations, and internal company policies while minimizing risks and supporting our business's abilities to meet its customer commitments and company objectives.



Job Description



  • Contribute to the implementation of Lamb Weston's privacy program and ongoing monitoring.

  • Assist in conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA's and DPIA's) for internal projects, technologies, or programs utilizing personal privacy data.

  • Coordinate with Third-Party Risk Management to obtain privacy compliance documentation from external vendors during the new vendor on-boarding process and annual review process.

  • Support key internal stakeholders in the review of projects and related personal employee data to ensure compliance with data privacy laws, and where necessary, advise on privacy impact assessments.

  • Work with internal stakeholders, within applicable jurisdiction(s), to maintain an inventory of privacy data and Records of Processing Activities ('ROPAs').

  • Assist in delivering privacy awareness campaigns and privacy training.

  • Contribute to Lamb Weston's implementation and ongoing compliance with regulatory privacy frameworks. (NIST)

  • Monitor the company's privacy mailbox, escalating privacy issues to Privacy Manage.

  • Responds to inquiries from data subjects requesting access and/or amendment rights to their data.

  • Assist in tracking data for Privacy Program KPIs and other reporting needs as directed by the Privacy Manager.

  • Strive for continuous process optimization and the implementation of privacy compliance.




Basic & Preferred Qualifications



  • In-depth knowledge of global privacy compliance related to personal data use and classification.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in global data protection laws and practices, including understanding of EU-GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, other U.S., Canada privacy laws and compliance.

  • Ability to articulate and influence the importance of customer privacy.

  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and autonomously work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Working knowledge of NIST Cyber Security and NIST Privacy Frameworks

  • 1-2 years of experience working with OneTrust's Privacy Platform (OT) or equivalent data management system.

  • Experienced privacy professional and certification preferred (Privacy consulting, CIPP, CIPM, CIPT).

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $72,030.00 - $108,060.00
