We would say that we're an emerging men's flannel brand, but that's probably underselling ourselves. You see, we've already been tagged by GearJunkie as The Best Overall Flannel for 2023 & 2024, taking down all the "big name" flannel & outdoor brands. We embrace our status as a challenger brand and we've been called the "best damn flannel in the world" by Joe Rogan, and our sales & customer reviews tell the story that what we're doing is working & for us that means it's time to pour some gasoline on the fire.

While our growth has been impressive, we know we can do so much more - and that's where YOU come in. We're looking for an empathetic, experienced e-commerce leader to spearhead growth for MuskOx. Someone that thinks strategically, executes flawlessly, and draws the best out of their team.

I know there's no singular path to success and there's often no "right" answer, but fantastic execution is a cheat code that gives us the best chance of success, especially when coupled with a solid strategy. I shine when I roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty to make a vision become reality.

I navigate twists and turns with ease thanks to a lot of elbow grease. I thrive on ambiguity, and love creating order from chaos and clarity from uncertainty. I embrace challenges, knowing that each one is an opportunity to grow, innovate, and to reach new heights. Whether it's optimizing the Meta algorithm or forging a new relationship with a manufacturer, I charge ahead with confidence like the MuskOx has stared down Alaska winters for thousands of years.

The summit awaits, and with me at the helm, there's no limit to what we can achieve at MuskOx.

REQUIREMENTS

Here's my background and what I've done before joining MuskOx:

-- I'm certainly ready for a full-time role and I'm located in Metro-Detroit or happy to relocate to the metro-Detroit area (or maybe I'm a true exception to this requirement. yes, there are always exceptions)

-- With 5+ years of experience, ideally with high-growth e-commerce brands, I bring a wealth of hands-on capabilities spanning various domains - from developing and implementing effective growth strategies (including but not limited to paid social), conversion rate optimization, and content development

-- I live and breathe the outdoors and have real experience with consumer products, ideally fashion or apparel

-- I have a proven track record of identifying and growing new marketing and sales channels for CPG brands

-- I can dig into customer data, proprietary business/marketing data, and industry trends to inform creative decisions for product marketing

-- My ecommerce expertise is non-negotiable - I have a proven track record of improving digital shopping experiences and building brands online. I can bridge the gap between business problems and technical solutions

-- A culture of testing is important, and I have the experience of optimizing ecommerce platform and paid campaigns for high conversion rates

-- I can examine qualitative and quantitative data, from inventory and pricing to marketing expenses. I utilize that data to develop recommendations to increase sales and profit

-- I excel in performance marketing, navigating through Facebook ads and paid search with precision

-- I'm a leader with a compassionate style, whether guiding quietly or boldly. With a knack for inspiring belief, I've led teams in the past and am eager to continue, comfortable meeting new people and effectively communicating my ideas

-- Decisiveness and a data-focused approach underscore my decision-making

-- I am well-versed in business and profitability metrics, including COGS, pricing, AOV, CAC, LTV, conversion, AOV, and profitability

MuskOx is a men's flannel brand that's passionate about quality, the outdoors, and doing things the right way. Since our founding in 2019, we have established the brand as an e-commerce business and we're excited to continue our growth through e-comm and truly launch our retail strategy.
