The Senior Director of Marketing Analytics will be responsible for helping us improve our analytical capabilities within the Blue Nile Marketing team. Your role will focus on connecting this Marketing Team and the data, with both you and others using it to add value to the business. This will include basic reporting and detailed analysis, leading the strategic direction for the data engineering team, support in the mentorship of all analysts, and being an analytical thought partner to our marketing business partners and CMO.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a small team of analysts, who are responsible for both ongoing reporting and jumping in to solve business problems.
  • Establish and maintain data governance and data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data assets.
  • Collaboratively work with key business partners and data engineers to translate between business and data domains, while solving problems.
  • Integrate data analytics to gain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and journey, enabling data-driven decisions to improve customer experience and loyalty.
  • Own and build high tech and analytical assets, including our proprietary multi-touch attribution model.
  • Provide insights to all business leaders regarding impactful analysis findings and the influence of the business this may affect.
  • Drive the creation of user-friendly dashboards and reports, ensuring that data is presented in a clear and concise manner to support informed business decisions.
  • Foster an environment of development, community, and great business problem solving throughout the broader R2Net analyst community.
  • Ensure seamless integration of marketing data sources, enabling the marketing team to have a holistic view of customer interactions and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in ecommerce and/or digital marketing.
  • 7+ years in an analytical role with a focus in quantitative marketing or management consulting.
  • Fluency with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI required.
  • Strong visualization, data presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in communicating insights from data analysis.
  • Attentive to detail and superb organizational and team management skills.
  • Self-starter who desires to discover trends and find actionable information.
  • Adept at building and leading high-performing teams.

Base pay $200,000-$230,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
