Job Title: Marketing Manager - Luxury Hotel

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Marketing Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Greenwich, CT . As the sole marketer, this individual will play a pivotal role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to elevate the hotel's brand presence, drive engagement within the local community, and enhance guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for hospitality, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, autonomous environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster a sense of community. Create compelling content, including visually stunning imagery and captivating captions, to showcase the hotel's unique offerings and amenities.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse range of events and activations aimed at engaging the local community and attracting new guests. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics, secure sponsorships, and ensure seamless event execution from start to finish.
  • Collateral Development: Create visually appealing marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and promotional materials, to effectively communicate the hotel's brand identity, key messaging, and special offers. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all print and digital assets.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to drive bookings, promote special offers, and nurture relationships with past and prospective guests. Segment email lists, craft personalized messaging, and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and maximize ROI.
  • Public Relations (PR): Cultivate relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to generate positive publicity and media coverage for the hotel. Pitch story ideas, coordinate press releases, and serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the development of comprehensive marketing plans and initiatives aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives. Identify new opportunities for growth, assess market trends, and leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive results.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work onsite in Greenwich, CT full-time - 5 days a week
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2 years) in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Exceptional event planning and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and promotions.
