What you will do:
Nurture the relationship between open-source projects that Zilliz contributes to (e.g., Milvus, Towhee) and software developers throughout the globe.
Raise awareness around open-source projects and guide and educate the developers using them through written content, presentations, outreach, and more.
Create content focused on open-source data science tools, including blog articles, code examples, demonstrations, and tutorials for a highly technical audience.
Actively engage with developer communities online and offline. Work to understand and communicate developer success stories and advocate for their needs.
Collaborate with an international team of internal (e.g., User Success Team, Community Engagement Team) and external (e.g., the Linux Foundation) stakeholders to execute a marketing strategy, attend/sponsor events, and foster community engagement.
What we are looking for:
3+ years experience as an open-source evangelist, developer advocate, DevRel lead, developer community manager, solutions engineer, tech marketer, or equivalent role.
Practical knowledge of open-source technology and software development.
Proven technical experience with artificial intelligence (AI), databases, and big data.
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex technical concepts and scenarios.
Strong presence in technical communities spanning GitHub, Medium, DZone, Stack Overflow, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.
Experience giving presentations to technical audiences.
Experience with blogging, technical documentation, and developer outreach.
Strong command of the English language, including written and verbal communication.
