About This Role:

This role requires excellent communication skills as well as building trust and deep relationships with our candidates. The Search Associate will be responsible for generating, qualifying, and maintaining Candidate relationships to achieve and maintain weekly personal metrics and billing goals. The Search Associate will also be responsible for participating in company meetings, training, and maintaining a professional, respectful company culture. Candidates will be generated through direct phone calls and utilizing the company's digital platforms, so being comfortable on the phone is a must!

Duties:

- Maintain personal metrics on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis

- Build and maintain a network of professionals in the corrugated packaging industry

- Collaborate with candidates to understand their career needs/goals and provide guidance in achieving those career goals

- Effectively communicate with candidates to evaluate career pain points, skill qualifications, and potential fit for our client's talent needs

- Occasional quarterly projects assigned by the Managing Associate for development/growth within Oberg and Associates

- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to candidates

- Maintain professional growth

Training and Preparation:

You do not need to have industry experience to do well as a Search Associate - all you need is grit and a "won't fail" attitude. O&A provides thorough training to get you up to speed so you can hit the ground running, you just need the motor! We provide weekly training sessions and one-on-one feedback to ensure you have all the tools you need to become and remain successful in the recruiting industry.

Requirements:

- Familiarity and comfortability with networking and conversion optimization via the phone

- Some knowledge of job search engines and online sourcing techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and verbal communications

- Ability to build relationships with clients and candidates at all levels

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Some knowledge of using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools

- Competitive nature and strong, forward-thinking mindset

- A four-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred

- Ability to work/maintain onsite office hours (8:30 am-5:30 pm in our N. Dallas Location)
