Through industry-leading R&D and committed partnerships, they innovate nutrition products and practices.
As they continue growing, they are looking for a Quality Manager for their Melrose, MN location to oversee the Food Safety and Quality Department, Quality Lab, Audit Process, and Food Safety/Security. The role entails providing local leadership in quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to specifications and certification standards such as EQMS and BRCGS. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of state and federal requirements and maintain effective communication with site management teams and corporate quality.
What YOU get to DO at this growing company:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the dairy plant or food manufacturing industry, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in people leadership and practical audit roles.
Certification in HACCP is required, while certifications in GFSI and PCQI are highly desirable.
Proficiency in interacting with regulatory personnel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in computer usage.
