Job Description:

What will you do?


  • Perform adjustment, functional, and operational testing on
    Automatic Transfer Switches following standard procedures using electrical and
    mechanical troubleshooting knowledge and skills.

  • Setup and perform switch testing based on Test and Adjustment Procedure. Test accessories based on description of operation on the wiring diagram.

  • roubleshoot and correct wiring and functional problems in accordance with the wiring diagram.

  • Communicate problems with the wiring diagram or outline drawing with supervision and Engineering.

  • Upload firmware and download parameters, Control Panel and other electronic components.

  • Set up electronic components and protective relays per vendor manuals.

  • Assure quality and document all work produced

  • Comply with company rules and regulations

  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner as directed

  • Participate in monthly quality feedback meetings

  • Willing and able to work in accordance with Lean methods and practices

  • Willing to participate in continual training and willing to assist in the training of other employees


What is needed from you?

  • Experience in AC/DC circuit analysis

  • Experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting

  • Know how to use voltmeter, and continuity testing

  • Ability to read wiring diagrams

  • Wiring Certification preferred

  • Some experience with Windows Computer Applications

  • Must have good communication skills

  • High School Graduate or equivalent related experience

  • Previous tester experience preferred
