We are currently hiring for a CAD Draftsman.

Hours are 7AM - 3:30PM (Monday - Friday)

*Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and overtime as required.


The purpose of this position is to prepare shop drawings and submittal packages, with occasional field measurements and develop drawings based on such measurements.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare shop drawings and submittal packages
• Communicate with engineers, customers and managers
• Reading technical drawings and schematics to disassemble and reassemble components based on parts and service manuals
• Perform tasks with use of gas torch, welders, hydraulic rams, presses, electric and pneumatic powered torque wrenches, and various other tools
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

• 2-4 years Vo-Tech drafting (Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read design drawings
• 3D modeling (Solid Edge & Auto CAD skills)
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills; both internal and external
• Fluent in using Microsoft office
