RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant/Audit in Melville, New York (NY).

Summary:

As a Senior Accountant/Audit, you will participate on diverse audit engagements for clients. The Senior Accountant/Audit will also be given the opportunity to learn tax and participate in various areas of tax preparation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Should be pursuing CPA designation


• 3-6 years of quality small/medium size public accounting experience with exposure to audits, reviews, and tax return preparation


• The Senior Accountant/Audit must have superior verbal/written communication skills and work ethic

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
