Job Description:

Join our client, an esteemed educational association, as a temporary to hire Events Project Manager! In this role, you'll spearhead the development, management, and tracking of project plans for a variety of events. Your responsibilities will include distributing comprehensive project status reports, maintaining accurate organizational dashboards, and managing contracts and invoices. About the Job:

• Develop, manage, and track project plans for events, including conferences, workshops, and networking sessions.


• Distribute project status reports to leadership, outlining key metrics, timelines, and action items for events.


• Ensure organizational dashboards accurately reflect project status and metrics.


• Coordinate contracts, agreements, and invoices for vendors and speakers; Ensure timely processing and response.


• Provide on-site event support, ensuring a high-quality member experience and troubleshooting any issues that arise.


• Collaborate with internal teams to align event goals with organizational objectives.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, business, or a related field is required.


• 2+ years of experience as an events project manager handling multiple large events annually.


• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Exceptional attention to detail with rigorous quality control skills.


• Strong project management abilities, adept at multitasking and overseeing various tasks concurrently.

About the Position:

• $30/hr-$35/hr, while temporary


• $75K-$80K, when permanent


• Hybrid schedule: 2 days/week onsite


• 35-hour work week!


• Located in Washington, DC.
