Machine Oper II at Dayton Superior in Sumner, Washington

Job Description:

- Follows all safety procedures including use of PPE, 5S, guard placement, etc.


- Sets up machine by selecting, installing and aligning tooling, guides and stops.


- Operates assigned machines. Consistently meets production requirements.


- Runs sample parts to verify conformance to product specification. Recognizes unsafe or defective products and corrects problem. Detects and reports any machine malfunctions.


- Performs preventive maintenance such as oiling machines and dies.


- Maintains clean and safe work area and actively practices 5S.


- Reads production schedules, work orders, and component drawings to assure product quality.


- Legibly fills out documentation such as process monitors and production tickets.


- Performs other duties as assigned.
