Assist department with package distribution, inventory and cleaning.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Daily updates for package tracking, inventory tracking of equipment/parts, inspect work areas and help keep them well organized and clean.
Waste disposal, sample distribution (log-in and deliver to locations throughout SwRI).
Work with project and department staff to collect information on project required items (balances, instruments, etc.).
Review and approve project notebooks (ELNs). Conduct and report lab inspections. Review proposals and reports for formatting and consistency throughout department. Expense reports, non labor transfers, etc.
Maintain project records (safety training, quality assurance, etc.).
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years: Related work experience.
Desire to learn department processes.
Must be able to follow all safety training and requirements.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
