Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

• Represent Client and lead inspection team to assure a quality-built highway construction project.


• Assure roadway plans, DOT specifications, bridge construction standards and QC plans are adhered to.


• Meet with the Department Project Engineer/ Manager/ Supervisor daily to discuss project schedule.


• Ensure completion of daily Project Sight Activity reports and use specified Applications to track and document contractor’s work.


• Lead daily safety meetings with other field staff.

Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:

• Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.


• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.


• Ten years or more of highway construction inspection, management, and/or design experience.


• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).


• NECEPT Asphalt, ACI/PennDOT Concrete, NICET certifications.


• Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
