Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders and end users to analyze, design, develop, modify, test, train and implement software solutions and applications to satisfy MSA’s global business requirements in line with Oracle Cloud EPM Applications (FCCS/ARCS/EPBCS/EDMCS/Narrative reporting/Freeform).
  • Participate and lead project meetings, regular interaction with internal customers, proactive interaction with internal customers and other IT teams.
  • Work with the other IT Business Process Functional teams, Application Development teams, and Technology Services teams on complex integration requirements. Create functional design specifications for programs and coordinate on the development with technical teams.
  • Lead small/medium projects with solid understanding of software development life cycle process and documentation. Participate in and contribute to major project implementations.
  • Support the IT Team in managing and guiding the finance team during close process, especially quarter and year-end close in making sure all EPM applications and interfaces are running per schedule.
  • Manage the monthly Oracle patches and work closely with the business partners to ensure timely testing, issue resolution and release of the patches to the production environment.
  • Responsible for escalation of support issues for the daily operations and enhancements of EPM applications, SmartView and their availability to end users.
  • Assist Controllers, FP&A and Regional Teams during the close process, forecast process and projects in order to better understand their needs during these cycles.
  • Lead and support the global roll-out of Oracle EMP application together with the business team and managed service team.
  • Manage the integration from SAP ECC6.0 EHP7 to Oracle Cloud EPM Applications, Oracle to SharePoint/Power BI or any other system.
  • Complete documentation of software solutions and processes according to departmental standards


Qualifications

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Experience in Oracle Financial Consolidation Cloud system (FCCS), Account Reconciliation Cloud system (ARCS), Enterprise Planning and budgeting Cloud system (EPBCS) (Projects, workforce, Capital, Financials), Narrative Reporting, Freeform, SmartView.
  • Hands on development experience in implementing one or more Oracle technologies.
  • Solid scripting knowledge is essential for writing custom consolidations, translation logic, business rules, Data Management and EPM Automation.
  • Development experience in building metadata, business rules, data reconciliation and others.
  • Strong business experience coupled with enthusiasm, drive, and motivation to succeed.
  • Proven ability to gather user requirements, design appropriate solutions and carry them through implementation including integration and end user training.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment and to build effective work relationships.
  • Results orientation: proven ability to deliver results on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated success leading IT projects of low to medium complexity at the regional and global level.
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit solid project management and work planning skills: must be able to multitask effectively.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, willingness to learn and openness to change are important.
  • Proven ability to work with 3rd parties and manage the work of non-employees for project work when required.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to sell concepts and ideas to a wide audience range; effectively communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization and the project team.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize, respect and adapt to cultural differences, as SAP & Oracle are used on a global level.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Hyperion System (HFM, HFR, DRM. FDM modules)
  • Knowledge of the integration points to core SAP modules (FICO, SD, MM, PP)
  • Knowledge of SAP BPC

Education/Experience Required:

  • This position is available at two different salary levels dependent upon education, experience, etc:
    • Level Two: 3 years IT or related business process experience and 3 years Oracle Cloud Finance Experience
    • Level Three: 5 years IT or related FICO business process experience and 5 years Oracle Cloud Finance Experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Information Science or relevant field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
