The ideal candidate will have aviation experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project leader will partner with Business Development to prepare and present updates regularly to the end customer (domestic and international), as well as internal management, ensuring that our goals are being achieved.
Project Leader Job Summary
Oversee the successful implementation and completion of our aircraft modification projects. This role will manage to defined statements of work and schedules, monitor project progress, and lead the cross functional team throughout the entire project life cycle.
Project Leader Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with Business Development to enable the transition to be the voice to the Customer through execution and delivery of product.
Develop project plans, identify resources needed to execute to project budget.
Manage project deliverables in line with agreed-upon timelines and scope.
Monitor, track, and report on project progress and deliverables.
Manage and monitor costs in line with project budget.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams as required.
Lead project reviews and customer updates.
Project Leader Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Proven experience in leading aviation projects (min 3 years)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus

Hybrid Position: - Days in office will depend upon customer and project needs; max 2 days per week remote.
