Our client is a General Contractor that has been in business for over 20 years. They specialize in Municipal, Federal, and Institutional construction and have a great backlog of projects. They are looking to add another Superintendent to their team due to growth.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
Mentor and train junior team members as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
