A services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Supply Chain Project Manager for a great growth opportunity with their expanding team. In this role, the Supply Chain Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication and integration between various IT systems, with a keen understanding of the data that flows behind the scenes.
Responsibilities: The Supply Chain Project Manager will:
Integrate current systems with Samsara to ensure efficient data workflows in supply chain and logistics operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Samsara's new system into existing logistics infrastructure
Develop strategies to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Implement data governance practices to maintain high-quality data.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing innovative solutions
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
Lead IT projects related to logistics and transportation
Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Monitor progress and ensure successful implementation
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Logistics and Transportation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Previous experience working with Omnitracs Roadnet and Samsara
Proven track record of successfully integrating IT systems
Strong analytical skills to dissect complex data flows
Great interpersonal skills

Highly organized
Desired Skills:
Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or logistics (e.g., CLTD)
