Cook M&A leading buy-side mergers and acquisitions advisory firm specializing in working with Private Equity, leading industry executives and private business owners to execute growth M&A strategies. Our growing and dynamic team is looking for a like-minded individual to oversee and manage all facets of the office and support the team with complex administrative responsibilities.
Position Overview: We are looking for a detail and task-oriented individual with impeccable follow-up, organization and time management skills who is process oriented to manage our office and support the growth of our organization.
This role combines executive administrative and office management skills with business support, HR and some day-to-day F&A acumen required. Candidate should have high level experience with the Microsoft suite of products and database management.
Tasks include, but not limited to:
support leadership team
manage calendars
manage calls/meetings/travel
manage firm-wide interaction
coordinate all daily office activities
liaise with accountants / benefits coordinator / IT support / 401K administrator / etc.
AR/AP responsibilities
support misc. functions across firm
support and plan company-wide events
document management and execution
Qualifications:
experience in an executive assistant and/or office management role, preferably in a professional services environment
organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively
interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
experience in Microsoft Office suite and database management
ability adapt to changing priorities and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed
knowledge of basic accounting principles and HR-related processes
degree preferred
