Job Summary
The HRIS Analyst has ownership of the development, update, maintenance, and overall operational performance of the organization's Human Resource systems. The role ensures that system actions are in compliance with current HR policies and guidelines and provides technical support to the HR team as well as employees and managers. HRIS Analyst will gather data, while recommending, and providing support for, continuous system improvements.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement new processes, systems and technology for efficient HR management
Optimizing HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing diagnostic tests
Perform audits on HR actions, processes, documents and key data eg. employee profiles, system edits, hiring, termination and other key processes
Participate in application upgrades, providing great communication, training and technical support as needed
Provide guidance, technical help and problem-solving support to the Human Resources team
Assist in the development of a variety of standard and ad-hoc reporting. Be the SME on how to utilize appropriate reporting tools
Build out training materials and facilitate training sessions, including developing user procedures, other SOPs, guidelines and documentation
Responsible for success of any HRIS module additions, development, patches, adjustment or roll-out
Consult with HR team members and other departments to determine HRIS needs
Any other duty as may be reasonably assigned by Senior Leadership
Requirements
Bachelor's (or master's) degree in IT field, computer sciences or related
4+ years of HRIS/HR system support experience
Experience with Workday is a plus
Must be proficient with MS Excel
Ability to work interdependent and as part of a team
Highest level of discretion with handling sensitive data
Action-oriented and have a drive for results
Ability to travel up to 15%
