Compensation: This role is a non-exempt paid internship with a duration of 12 weeks. The Marketing Intern will work a minimum of 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, (4 days onsite, 8 hours per day, 9:30 am - 6:30 pm) The intern will also receive compensation of $16 per hour. This internship may also provide opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Role Summary: The Marketing Intern role is an onsite position 4 days a week. This position serves as a member of our partner marketing agency, uPanda Marketing. We are seeking a candidate who can manage social media to increase engagement, understands SEO (search engine optimization), is responsible for content creation on social media, is familiar with paid ads, can utilize Canva for design, excels in video editing, understands website development, and can multitask with excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing PR research to analyze target audience, competitors, and industry trends, providing data for brand communication strategies, and sourcing awards, events, and associations for the company.
  • Managing social media platforms, devising and implementing social media strategies to increase user engagement and company exposure.
  • Optimizing website content to meet SEO requirements, improving website ranking and visibility in search engines.
  • Creating compelling social media content that enhances brand image and attracts audience attention.
  • Managing paid advertising campaigns and optimizing ad performance to increase conversion rates and ROI.
  • Minimum 32 hours per week on-site.

Qualifications:
  • Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!
  • Proficient in multitasking and skilled in time management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, PR, or a related field.
  • Proficient in design tools like Canva and video editing software, with preference given to those with relevant experience.
  • Has experience in website development and maintenance, familiar with HTML, CSS, CMS, and PHP systems preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
  • Has excellent PR research and analysis skills, able to accurately grasp market dynamics and user needs.
  • Proficient in social media management skills, with a preference for those with successful cases.
  • Has a deep understanding of SEO principles and strategies and is able to optimize website content and structure.
  • Possesses outstanding creativity and content creation abilities, capable of attracting audience attention and enhancing brand influence.
  • Familiar with paid advertising platforms, able to effectively manage advertising budgets and optimize ad performance.
  • Understanding of HubSpot is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred, but not required.
