The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects related to automotive manufacturing, from conception to completion. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver automotive manufacturing programs on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution of program milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, procurement, quality assurance, and supply chain, to align project goals and priorities.
Communicate regularly with customers to understand their requirements, provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor and track program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies and corrective actions as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in program management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout the program lifecycle.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Prepare and present program status reports, presentations, and executive summaries to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management within the automotive manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain management.
Experience with project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Excel, and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering results.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience with automotive quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949) and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
