Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Project Manager (Manufacturing Engineer) specializing in manufacturing engineering and logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects related to the production, logistics, and distribution of our medical devices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of manufacturing processes with logistics operations, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, particularly regarding product labeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure successful execution of manufacturing engineering and logistics projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and ensuring product quality.
  • Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for product labeling and documentation, working closely with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork across departments.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in project management within the medical device industry, with a focus on manufacturing engineering and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, particularly in the context of medical device production.
  • Extensive knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices, particularly regarding product labeling and documentation (e.g., FDA regulations, ISO standards).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
