Company:

My client is a long standing General Contractor that has been in the industry for over 75 years. They are a family owned business that believes in taking care of their employees and this can be seen by the average tenure. Specializing in a variety of markets (commercial, retail, hospitality, etc) they offer a diverse project portfolio which leads to a great backlog. They are looking to add another Superintendent to their team due to growth.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in a Superintendent capacity for a General Contractor
  • Experience to include ground up projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team setting
  • Proficiency in using project management software such as Procore or Autodesk Build, bid management software such as BuildingConnected or Construction Connect, construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Autodesk Takeoff, or RSMeans, computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD or Sketchup, and scheduling software including Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
  • Directs and supervises work of project administration staff and construction engineers, as well as works in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
  • Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
  • Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
  • Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
  • Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Valid driver's license. OSHA 30 Hour certification and LEED GA accreditation are a plus.
