Seeking an experienced civils project manager on behalf of an established multi-division contractor in NY.
This client, founded in 1995, has evolved into a leading construction firm, specializing in a multitude of disciplines including concrete, masonry, plastering, drywall, and acoustic solutions. They have successfully completed projects valued at nearly $1 billion, solidifying their reputation as a leader in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress against metrics.
- Procure necessary resources and supervise on-site activities to ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Manage project finances, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders, addressing key milestones and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in civil construction project management.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software and construction management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
