ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

KIOTI Tractor is the U.S. subsidiary of Daedong Corporation specializing in the distribution of high quality tractors, UTVs, zero turn mowers, attachments and implements. Since its establishment in 1993, KIOTI has experienced rapid growth as a result of its unique ability to facilitate responsive engineering and production of KIOTI products specifically designed to meet the growing needs of North American equipment users.

Today, KIOTI Tractor sells its products through an expanding KIOTI dealer network of more than 500 dealerships located throughout North America. To assist with this, we have a strategically positioned U.S. warehouse distribution system and its streamlined parts, service and fulfillment center located in Wendell, North Carolina.

This will be an onsite position in Wendell, NC, with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

JOB SUMMARY

KIOTI is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Product Manager to take the helm of our Product Management team. In this pivotal role, you'll not only lead a team of talented product managers but also play a crucial part in steering strategic initiatives that align with KIOTI's overarching goals. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring the seamless management and growth of both our existing product lines and those in the pipeline. Collaboration will be a key aspect, as you engage with Executives, Sales, Marketing, Product Support, and various functional teams to synergize efforts and drive overall success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for equipment product lines, aligning with overall business goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform product strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless product integration and successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product line success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate terms to optimize product offerings and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Understand customer needs and feedback, incorporating insights into product development and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to establish pricing models, programs, and financial measurements for new products.
  • Develop the market research strategy and deliver voice of customer analysis.
  • Develop strategies for increasing market share and maximizing sales.
  • Assist the Sales Department with identifying market opportunities and program strategy development.
  • Participate in local and national trade shows to promote KIOTI products and increase brand awareness.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations at trade shows and corporate events.
  • Support marketing and product launch activities as needed.
  • Create internal and external training materials as needed.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of overall company objectives.

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of related business experience in the equipment industry.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product development, engineering, or product marketing.
  • Advanced capability with various software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail and work collaboratively across functional areas.
  • Approximately 20% travel required.
  • Ability to build relationships and skillful in collaborating between interdepartmental personnel.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
  • Proficient with collection, analysis, and presentation of results in a concise, actionable format.
  • Ability to manage business processes and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
