The Senior Electrical Engineer reports to the Engineering Leader and is responsible for the product engineering operations. This position works under a moderate to low level of supervision. Independent technical decisions on work are covered by precedents; this position seeks direction/guidance on novel or controversial problems. In addition, this position may participate in project-specific relationship building with Customers, Suppliers, individuals, or organizations.
What you will be doing... • Plans, schedules, and coordinates project phases • Conducts complex research assignments • Promotes process improvements company-wide • Writes product design guidelines • Performs conventional engineering practices with complex features • Provides support to sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and development • Troubleshoots and analyzes system problems independently • Sets technical direction on complex projects • Ensures designs meet criteria for manufacturability, testability, and reliability • Designs, supports, and tests hardware boards and systems.
What we are looking for... • BS Degree in Engineering required • Greater than 4 years in Hardware Engineering • Greater than 4 years in Electronics Engineering • Hands-on experience in all phases of New Product Introduction/Development (Design, Troubleshooting, Testing, Implementation, Release) • Ability to walk and support manufacturing floor related to NPI
