Our client is looking to add an Data Analytics Engineer Consultant to their Data Analytics team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Constantly develop a deeper understanding of available data • Work to understand multiple operational departments and how data is captured and used within the organization • Build, maintain, and support custom analytics pipelines • Collaborate with the data analytics team to maintain, optimize, and expand upon existing ETL structure • Build, manage, and enhance an analytics data warehouse that will enable the analytics team to quickly provision reports for business users • Maintain and enhance existing documentation related to the analytics data model, dictionary, and architecture • Generate advanced reporting and alerting in BI tools to support end-to-end data quality or business needs • Monitor ETL pipeline to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues • Troubleshoot identified issues and provide timely resolution • Use Python and other technologies to create automated solutions for both business and analytics' processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Strong understanding of SQL with the ability to understand complex queries and to write high quality, maintainable and reusable code • Experience with Amazon Redshift or other cloud warehouses • Ability to thrive in a project-based environment with evolving requirements • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, aggregate, analyze, and wrangle significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Familiarity with or interest in learning Python • Familiarity with or interest in working with Hex Technologies or Power BI • Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
EDUCATION/BACKGROUND • BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a Related Technical Field is preferred • 2-5+ years' data warehousing or analytics experience • 2+ years' data engineering experience • 1+ years' experience in health care industry is preferred but not required
