Job Description:

Our mission is to connect the world's best brands with the travel space in a way that makes the traveler's journey better. The Brand Partnerships team is based in the company's New York City marketing hub, and helps to identify, secure and develop winning brand collaborations.

Support the Global Director of Brand Partnerships in cultivating new collaborations across diverse industries, with a focus on engaging mass market brands possessing substantial advertising resources, while strategically aligning brands with targeted opportunities within the US-based travel sector.

Responsibilities:

Domestic Brand Relationship Management
  • Assist the Global Director in outreach efforts, follow-ups, and nurturing key relationships with major domestic mass brands.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mass market brands, understanding their advertising objectives and assisting Global Director in aligning partnership opportunities accordingly.
  • Research and identify potential brand partners within the domestic market through industry research and established networks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of domestic brand partners, capturing essential information to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of agreements with domestic brands, ensuring compliance and organization of agreements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments within the advertising landscape, particularly focusing on strategies employed by mass market brands.
  • Actively network within the advertising industry to identify potential new brand partners and cultivate relationships that align with our objectives.

Product development:
  • Collaborate with domestic brand partners and internal teams to develop branded products, such as skincare and other consumer goods, tailored to the preferences of domestic consumers.

Project management:
  • Support the implementation of brand collaborations throughout the duration of WESSCO contracts, overseeing projects from pre-launch to completion.
  • Manage scheduling and logistics for internal and external events, ensuring seamless execution of domestic brand initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic pipelines for brand partnerships, product development, and sponsorship initiatives within the domestic market.

International Sales Support:
  • Provide brand education support to WESSCO sales teams nationwide, enabling them to effectively communicate the value propositions of domestic brand partnerships.
  • Support sales teams in delivering presentations and participating in trade shows both domestically and internationally, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.

Administrative Support
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of domestic trade shows and conferences, offering on-site support as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage the coordination and cataloging of sample shipments for domestic brand partners, optimizing efficiency in showcasing product offerings.
  • Handle financial expense reporting related to domestic activities, ensuring accurate tracking and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Education & Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 0-5 years experience in advertising sales, particularly with a track record of success in securing partnerships with major domestic brands and companies.

Work Environment and Benefits

This role involves approximately 20% travel to engage with brands and customers both domestically and internationally, fostering relationships and maximizing collaborative opportunities.

Salary and Location
  • Competitive salary based on experience. Will include a base salary with commission potential for sales based on new brand partnerships.
