As a Travel Occupational Therapist in our Inpatient Rehab department, your responsibilities will include:
Assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to enhance vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, promoting independence in individuals with disabilities or developmental delays.
Building rapport and fostering cooperation among patients, their families/support groups, and healthcare providers through comprehensive patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and clear communication.
Ensuring adherence to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to safeguard patient privacy and safety while delivering exceptional care.
Providing clinical supervision for assistants and aides, and serving as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
Certification & Licensure: OT - Occupational Therapist, BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience.
